About Me!

I was the youngest president elected at the age of 43 and the youngest to die in office at the age of 46. I appointed my brother, Bobby, to the cabinet post, making me the only president to appoint their sibling to the position. In 1956, I wrote an autobiography called Profiles in Courage. I earned the Pulitzer Prize in 1957, making me the first president to win the Pulitzer Prize. This book describes eight instances in which Senators risked their personal beliefs by standing by their personal beliefs.
